Thank you for editing the UW-Madison template! It is always changing and being updated with new UW-Madison related articles. However, Paul Bunyan's Axe is already on the template under the Athletics section along with the Heartland Trophy. The Slab of Bacon trophy was put under the History section only because it isn't a current trophy. If you find any other articles that were accidentaly left off the template, go ahead and add them. Thanks! – Lordmontu (talk) • (contribs) 04:07, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yikes, what a mistake - sorry! Will be more careful next time; that is sort of embarrassing... Thanks for catching and correcting Lordmontu. Editor Emeritus 12:05, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
Conflict of interest blog links
[edit]I note that you've added links to your blog to multiple Wikipedia articles, contrary to a couple of Wikipedia guidelines. I'd urge you review the Wikipedia page on Conflict of Interest, especially the section on self-promotion. For similar reasons, editing articles about oneself is strongly discouraged.
Inserting external links to blogs is covered at External links: Links normally to be avoided, as well as the section from the page Wikipedia:Spam entitled External link spamming.
I have removed the links in question per WP:COI and WP:EL. --Rrburke(talk) 16:04, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
